Constructing Oman’s first and largest utility scale renewable energy project

With an aim to encourage renewable energy development in the Middle East, special purpose vehicle borrower Shams Ad-Dhahira Generating Company alongside with its sponsors ACWA Power, the Gulf Investment Corporation and Alternative Energy Projects got together to construct a 500 mega-watt solar photovoltaics power plant in Ibri, Oman.
