Barings has partnered with Heng An Standard Life ( Asia ) Limited ( HASL Asia ) to expand the suite of income investment options available on HASL Asia’s investment-linked insurance platform in Hong Kong.

Currently featuring the Barings Senior Secured Bond Fund and Barings Developed & Emerging Markets High Yield Bond Fund, the platform will include the Barings Income Navigator Fund and Barings Global Investment Grade Credit Fund.

The two newly added funds will be offered exclusively through HASL Asia’s investment-linked insurance platform in the first half of 2026, providing a unique opportunity for investors seeking differentiated income strategies, according to Barings.

The funds are designed for investors looking to balance income generation with capital preservation. Their flexible and high-quality credit approaches offer resilience and consistency amid heightened market volatility and evolving interest rate dynamics, the asset manager says.

The Barings Income Navigator Fund is a flexible multi-strategy credit fund that seeks to deliver attractive income that is consistent with preservation of capital. It can navigate multiple sectors, including low and high investment-grade income, as well as an increased allocation to high yield, depending on market conditions and attractiveness to generate income.

The Barings Global Investment Grade Credit Fund focuses on a diversified portfolio of investment-grade fixed and floating rate corporate debt instruments and government debt instruments globally. It aims to achieve capital appreciation while providing current income generation through rigorous credit selection and portfolio management.
