Deutsche Bank announces key leadership appointments
Chintan Shah named head of corporate bank for APAC and MEA, while Christof Hofmann is global head of cash management

Deutsche Bank has appointed Chintan Shah as head of corporate bank for Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Shah will take on the new responsibility in addition to his current role as head of corporate coverage for the region. He will continue to be based in Singapore.

Meanwhile, the bank has appointed Christof Hofmann as global head of cash management. He will continue to be based in Frankfurt.

Hofmann joined Deutsche Bank in 2011 after working at Boston Consulting Group. He began his career at the bank in group strategy and has held senior roles in payments and cash management since joining the corporate bank ten years ago.

Both Shah and Hofmann will report to Ole Matthiessen, global co-head of corporate bank. Their appointments take effect on January 1 2026.
